Fall Butterfly Garden

Our native butterfly species become scarcer in the fall, but some are still out seeking food from flowering plants. Meanwhile, their caterpillars may be sheltering on butterfly host plants, getting ready to overwinter. There are myriad beautiful plants that can help these and other precious pollinators to thrive in the fall, as well as seeds that can be planted now to help them in the next growing season.
